For over 3 Decades Climate Scientists have told the world our species are changing the very Climate we live in. Always referring to the pre-industrial era as a critical point in Earth’s Tipping point.
However what are they referring to here? Our contribution to Atmospheric Co2?

We can see Atmospheric Co2 since 1960 has climbed to over 410ppm from 310ppm, some 100pm in the period.
However why are we focusing on post industrialisation? Instead of looking at Earth Atmospheric Co2 at longer timescales.
Has Earth’s Co2 only been monitored since then? Well not exactly, it seems there are many Proxies that suggest we have reliable measurements going back Millions of years.

Given the records it would seem Atmospheric Co2 lags Temperature, wait what! The theory is adding Atmospheric Co2 causes heat to increase.. The greenhouse effect. OK let’s look at warm Epochs for the last few thousand years.
Abstract
Archaeological evidence suggests that southwest Florida experienced variably warmer and wetter climate during the Roman Warm Period (RWP; 300 BC–550 AD) relative to the Vandal Minimum (VM; 550–800 AD). This hypothesis was tested by reconstructing seasonal-scale climate conditions for the latter part of the RWP (1–550 AD) by using high-resolution oxygen isotope ratios (δ18O) of archaeological shells (Mercenaria campechiensis) and otoliths (Ariopsis felis). Eight shells radiocarbon-dated to 150–550 AD recorded that the RWP summers at 150–250 AD were insignificantly different from today and the RWP summers at 250–350 AD and 450–550 AD were drier relative to today. Eight otoliths indicate that the winters were variable during the RWP, colder than today at 150–200 AD and 250–300 AD, similar to today at 200–250 AD, 300–350 AD and 450–500 AD, and warmer than today at 500–550 AD. The climate reconstructions agree with archaeological observations and are partially coherent with the history of sea-level change, with a drying and cooling trend at the 95% confidence level across the RWP/VM transition. The climate transition is not only consistent with falling sea level, but also coherent with reduced solar radiation. Reduced solar radiation may have triggered a change in atmospheric circulation patterns that precipitated the observed climate transition.

Scientific evidence suggests that warm/Cold epochs have very little to do with Atmospheric concentrations of Co2, and Temperature spikes prior to any increases in Atmos concentration.
Contrary to current perspectives, a warmer planet is most beneficial to all species on Earth. Moreover it is the Decline from these warm Epochs humans should be more concerned about, collapse of civilisation is often brought about by famines war and diseases associated with rapid declines in terrestrial temperatures and or Droughts.

Throughout our history Empires are built on wealth, Land and ownership, Climate on the other hand predicts timescales of the above, swings in temperature and Our ability to grow food suggests we know very little except adaption and survival, to think we are now in an era where We control it, is utterly a misconception.
These events shape Civilisations, we should prepare for future climatics be it warm or cold because, without doubt we will see diverse conditions post modern warm period.
