Arctic/Antarctica/Greenland SMBacc update.

Arctic sea ice concentration for 29th October was 5.62M km2.

Antarctica sea ice concentration for the same date was 18.38M Km2, I have sourced a new visual, hope you like it.

Again I mention lack of sea ice in the East, due mainly to high pressure and above seasonal temperatures.

Greenland

The SMBacc for Greenland yesterday was 111.3 Gigatons with a daily contribution of 3.605 Gigatons, again another good contribution.

Greenland SMBacc remains above the 1981-2010 mean according to polar portal. It is also currently running higher than last year's excellent contribution.
